A North Carolina native, Akaylah has resided in Santa Clarita since 2015. She graduated from the Master’s University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Traditional Worship.
Akaylah started taking piano lessons when she was five years old. She also studied guitar and voice, and grew up singing in youth and adult choirs. Akaylah has accompanied beginning to advanced instrumentalists in recitals, collegiate concerts, and student evaluations. She has also performed several concerts at both the Master’s University and in churches across the country.

Akaylah hopes to instill in her students a love for playing the piano and studying the lives of great composers. She believes that every student has different goals and wants to help them accomplish them.

In her free time, you can catch Akaylah enjoying a good cup of coffee and hanging out with her husband.
